2022 Independence Day Celebrations

July 3rd

Pancake Breakfast 9:00-10:30. Bring your family and enjoy some pancakes! Location is at 278 Driftwood Lane. Bring a chair or a blanket to sit and enjoy your breakfast. We will be taking free will donations for the Ashland Fire Department.

Kids Sidewalk Chalk Driveway Contest- Kids will decorate their driveway with sidewalk chalk to show their Patriotic Spirit. Drawings must be completed by 1:00. Judging will begin at 1:00 and prizes will be dropped off to the winners and announced on Facebook. If you would like to participate please send an email with child or children’s name and ages and address to [email protected] or [email protected]

July 4th

Firework 5K & Fun Run/Walk- Check in at 8:45 at Lake Allure. The race begins at 9 by the mailboxes on Timberstone.

Parade- This year Lake Allure will be doing our own parade! The parade will line up at 11:45 and start at 12:00. Please decorate your means of transportation in a fun, creative way. Also, mark your vehicle with an 8 X 10 sign stating the first letter of your last name and home address, ex. G739. The American Flag will be leading our parade. Please show your respect and DO NOT SPRAY THEM WITH WATER! Also, NO WATER BALLOONS this year, only squirt guns! You may throw candy out to kids. The top float will be announced after the parade.

The parade will start and line up on Granite Pointe and end up at the boat ramp. We won’t be going into any of the coves. So please come down at the end of your street, Timberstone or Driftwood to watch. We won’t be going by the park since TL is having their parade time so close to ours. Fireworks
At 10:00. Location will be on the North side on the section that is gravel. This part of the road will be blocked off that day.
